About Us
Our Credentials
Clinigen is fully licensed and accredited by the Clinical Laboratory

testing administered by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
These credentials assure that stringent quality assurance and
quality control programs back our test results.
Our
Management Team
Dr.Yean-Kai Tsung, the founder of Clinigen, received his
Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed
his post-doctoral training at Duke University and Harvard Medical
School. Before founding Clinigen, he established and served as
director of the Center for Human Genetics at the Boston University
School of Medicine.
Nancy Tsung worked for more than 20 years in MIT's Horvitz
Laboratory before joining Clinigen. Her fastidious nature and
natural scientific curiosity were instrumental in supporting the
work that won Horvitz the 2003 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
Michael Tsung received his Bachelors degree in Molecular and
Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and
completed his Masters of Business Administration at the MIT Sloan
School of Management.
Dr. Leonard Berman serves as Clinigen's quality control and
quality assurance advisor. He has more than 40 years of experience
in the healthcare industry and holds joint appointments as Professor
of Pathology at the Boston University Medical School and Pathologist
at Mallory Institute of Pathology in Boston. Dr. Berman is certified
